May 19th - 24th: 4 full day Temple Ceremonies, 1 day drinking Ayahuasca in nature - either walk or waterfall, 1 rest day

The Venue
Terramaya is an isolated, off-grid retreat centre on the middle of a moutainside in the heart of the Atlantic Rainforest!
Being there is an immersion in wild, pristine nature: pure air, clean water direct from the springs, waterfalls, swimming holes, rainforest. There is no road, no light, sound or air pollution, no mains electricity or phone service.
It is a magical opportunity to take a step back from the world of scrolling and screens, and experience inner and outer nature to the fullest.

Don’t count on it! Terramaya is an off-grid centre, and there is very limited, solar-powered electricity available.
We suggest you bring other devices ie. torch, camera, watch etc so you are not dependent on your phone for these.

There is no phone service, and no internet available for guests.
Being offline is part of the retreat experience at Terramaya.
We will give you an emergency contact number that you can pass to your dear ones so they can contact you in case of any problems.

The food will be vegetarian. It is healthy, fresh, sourced locally, and organic wherever possible. There will be vegan options at all meals. On booking, you will complete a form with dietary restrictions and options will be made available for you.

Transport from Rio de Janeiro to Terramaya is included in your retreat price.
A shuttle bus picks guests up from Copacabana in central Rio de Janeiro and Galeão airport on the arrival day (around 10am), and drops guests off at these 2 locations on the leaving day (arriving Rio around 5pm).
You can also embark and disembark at Casimiro de Abreu, the city closest to Terramaya.

The transport will drop you at the bottom of the hill, and from there it is a 20 minute walk to the centre.
Don’t worry! We will ensure your bag is carried up by man or donkey.
(If there is heavy rain, this may be the following day. We recommend you bring a light bag with your necessities for the first night. You will be sent more practical information in the welcome pack, and you can also find out more HERE.)

At the time of writing on May 1st, vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers are able to enter Brazil.
Vaccinated travellers do not need to show a negative test. Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers need to show a negative test, either PCR or antigen, taken within the 24 hours before entry.
As rules and regulations related to COVID are constantly changing, you will be notified of updates on our security protocol before the start of the retreat.
Currently, no other testing will be required to attend, although this is subject to change. If you have any covid-like symptoms, please do not come. You will be issued a full refund.

Pricing:
$1950 includes shared accommodation (up to 4 in a cabin), food, all ceremonies and group sessions, 1 Shiatzu massage and transport from and to Rio de Janeiro.
On acceptance of your registration, you will be invited to pay a deposit of $950 to confirm your spot.
The remaining $1000 is to be paid on arrival at Terramaya.
